The team that can't stop winning continued in 2017 where they left off in 2016 as they were crowned champions again today.
A first title in the Under 21 B football since 2003, in the end we made hard work of a 3-10 to 3-6 victory.
Karl Collins excepted the cup on behalf of the victorious team in Templemore
Goals from Keane Hayes from the spot and Eamon Fogarty set the team on the way to a 2-5 to 0-4 interval lead.
A indifferent second half saw us leave Moyne Gaels back into it before a Ronan Teehan goal stretched the lead out again. We then conceded 2 penalties which were converted before putting a lot of pressure on ourselves to hold on through 5 mins of injury time.
However we survived the onslaught to hold on for a 3-10 to 3-6 victory and now go forward to play the South champions (yet to be decided) in the County semi in April.
