Having recently applied for Sports capital funding Gortnahoe Glengoole GAA club in conjunction with the Ladies football club and Camogie club launched our ambitious development plans at our recent dinner dance in The Springhill Court hotel in Kilkenny. 

These plans make up phase 1 of the project which will include a second pitch and 750 metre walking track which will circulate both pitches. 

We hope our application will be looked on favourably to help us secure funding to start phase 1. We will however need a big effort in the weeks, months and years ahead to make this happen. We hope to have a public meeting shortly to discuss plans for further  facilities including a possible complex, ball wall, lights etc.
