A talk entitled 'The Famine is Over' will take place in the  Davin Room of Hayes Hotel on Wednesday 12th July at 8pm.

The focus of the talk will be on remembering the famous Munster Final win of Tipperary in 1987 which ended the 16 long years that Tipperary went at senior level without silverware.

The talk will also include a discussion on 2017 and the difference between how teams prepare in 2017 compared to 30 years ago.

This event is run as part of Thurles Sports Festival with a number of recognised GAA players. 

A talk which would be of interest to many GAA fans.
