Goals win games as the old saying goes and this was certainly true last night as our Junior footballers showed great heart & determination to come from 4 points down with 15 minutes left to score 3 goals to beat Loughmore and retain their title which was won for the first time last season

A slow start in both halves was conteracted with big scoring bursts towards the end of both halves as we ran out 9 point winners on a scoreline of 3-12 to 0-12

Fresh legs from the bench was vital as the impact made by Fionn Cleary, Trevor O Neill, James Stokes and the return of long term injury victim Adrian Maher (playing his first game in 8 months) got us over the line in the finish

Congratulations to the whole panel and the management team of Kevin Moriarty, Michael Langton, Michael Heffernan, Gerry Fahey and PJ McCormack
