Noel Dundon invites you to the launch of 'Premier Legends' - the book which features seventeen chapters on the lives of Tipperary hurling greats including our own Larry Kiely.
The book will be launched in St Patrick's College, Thurles (directly opposite the Cathedral of the Assumption) on Saturday evening, December 2nd at 8:00pm and the launch will be performed by Irish Independent Chief Sports Features Writer, and Nenagh man, Vincent Hogan. Tipperary hurling captain Padraic Maher will also be in attendance on the night.
The club would like to encourage anyone who wants to attend the launch to support Larry and his family. The hope is that all the hurling greats, who are still with us, will be welcomed and presented with a signed and messaged copy of the book. There will be a number of guest speakers, and after the formalities have been completed, refreshments will be served in the College refectory where there will be an opportunity to catch up with many familiar faces and old friends.
Please feel free to bring as many family members/guests as you wish – Noel would be delighted to welcome them all. There is plenty of parking around the College grounds, including a large car park just off the main avenue.
It is expected that the formalities will take no more than an hour and we look forward to a great night of story telling, reminiscing, and hurling. Copies of the book, cost €20 will be available on the night. The book is available in local bookshops, or from Noel also.
Looking forward to seeing you on the night.
