The club ran a highly successful fittest family competition this morning ahead of the upcoming hurling season. 

In all 9 teams entered with each team consisting of 5 members from throughout the parish. 

Thanks to PJ McCormack, Jim Rafter and Martin Gleeson for bringing forward the idea and setting up the course.

Also thanks to all those who helped out at each station around the course, to Joan Bourke for making the soup to warm everyone up afterward, Josephine Hogan for the facilities of Hogans Grange, Adrienne Cleary  & Cathy Slattery for the the food supplied and finally to Susan Corbett & Trisha Bourke for serving it out. 

The winning team on the day were "Masters of Mayhem" consisting of Colm Scott, Ronan Stanley, Lenny Stanley, Philly Hogan and Stephen Flanagan
