Congratulations to the U16s on a great win in the Brendan Teehan tournament.  We started the day by playing  Anner Gaels in the first match and we  beat them by 8 points. Killenaule then took on Borrisoleigh in the 2nd match and Killenaule came out on top after a tough tight match. This meant that  Anner Gaels and Borrisoleigh played one another in the Shield final, with Borrisoleigh coming out on top. We then took on Killenaule in the Cup final and we ran out winners on a score line of 2-11/1-5 We would like to take this opportunity to thank, Anner Gaels, Killenaule and Borrisoleigh for attending, also to the referees Tom Loughnane and Paddy Ivers. A special thanks as always to Marian and the rest of the Teehan family for their continued support to this great event.  The tournament is a testament to the high regard in which Brendan was held within the club and the love he had for the GAA, especially at Juvenile level.
