Well done to all Under 6’s and 8’s who finished up for the year yesterday morning. The Harps travelled up to play both teams and all enjoyed the novelty of marching behind Pat Cooney from the Moycarkey Pipe Band who led all teams out onto the field and around it prior to throw in. After the games all players, parents and siblings enjoyed refreshments in the School Hall. Special thanks to all who donated the goodies and helped with the catering. We appreciate all the work that has gone into developing these juveniles over the last 7 months. We acknowledge the help received from all coaches and assistants at the numerous training sessions/ challenges/ and blitz’s. It is encouraging to have so many willing parents getting involved in looking after the kids. Each child was a pleasure to train and all wore the Red and White jersey with great pride over the year. We hope that they all continue to keep the Hurley close to hand over the coming months and we look forward to getting back at in 2019.
