Junior Football
Our Junior footballers begin their county championship campaign next Saturday at 5pm in Dundrum where we take on Sean Treacys. All support appreciated
Under 14 football
Our under 14 footballers began their championship campaign away to Loughmore last Thursday and went down by 5-5 to 3-2. We are out again this Thursday v Drom and Inch at home at 6:45pm
Intermediate Hurling
Our Intermediate hurlers were defeated in round 1 of the County Championship v Boherlahan on Sunday on a score line of 3-18 to 3-16. We now wait until August to play rounds 2 and 3 versus Borrisokane and Cappawhite
Mid Junior hurling league
We went down to Clonakenny at home in Round 2 of this competition last Sunday by 1-18 to 0-13, it was a good performance however considering we were short many regulars due to the Intermediate championship game being on the same day. We have a bye in the next round and will play round 4 on the weekend of the 12th May
Camogie news
Congratulations to Ciara Hogan and Helen Cleere on making the u14 County Camogie Panel. This is a great achievement and we wish them both the very best of luck for the season ahead. Well done girls.
Well done to Helen who is also on the County u14 football team and is playing in the Munster Final next Saturday 13th April in Mallow. Best of luck to all involved.
U16 Camogie team play Rockwell Rovers on Tuesday evening next April 9th at 6.30 in gortnahoe Gaa field.
Championship Challenge fundraiser
Cards for our fundraiser Championship Challenge are now in circulation and are available from all players and committee members, cards are also available online through our website. Championship Challenge has a combined prize fund of €850 with €500 going to first place, €250 for second and €100 for third
You simply select a winner from each Munster and Leinster championship game along with predicting the finalists and the winners to accumulate points, the top 3 at the end of all games will take the prizes. Cards are priced at €10
We would like to give a special mention to Copymoore in Urlingford who printed 400 cards Free of charge, we greatly appreciated this.
