Our Junior Footballers took on Holycross in round 1 of the Mid Championship on Friday last in Holycross. A good first half saw us rack up 3-11 to hold a 12 point half time lead, the second half was a much more even affair but we ran out winners by 4-14 to 3-8. A win next Friday away to Boherlahan at 8pm would see us make the Mid Final
Under 10 hurling
Our under 10 hurlers took part in the Colaiste Scoil Mhuire Johnstown blitz last Wednesday night and won their three matches against Moyne Templetuohy, Durrow Harps and Fenians to reach the ‘A’ final where they were narrowly beaten by just 1 point by Moycarkey - they were presented with well deserved medals and we would like to thank Colaiste Scoil Mhuire for inviting us to this enjoyable event.
