Farewell to “The Goose”

Best wishes to Michael Kilcourse AKA “Goose” as he and his partner Maeve head off to Australia for the foreseeable future.

Goose is a bit of a cult hero around the club and will be missed around the place.

Goose famously devoured a cheese burger at half time in the final of the Ballingarry tournament before entering the fray to poach the all important winning goal v Ballingarry a couple of years ago, this probably a career highlight for the Goose and perfectly summed up his equal love for food & hurling!!
