Intermediate hurling

Our Intermediate hurlers travelled to take on Galtee Rovers away in the County League last Sunday. We ran out out 1-18 to 1-8 winners having led 0-9 to 0-4 at half time. Another win In our final round game v Clonoulty at home on Saturday the 22nd of June will see us promoted to Division 2 next year.

Junior hurling

Our Junior hurlers take on Drom & Inch on Saturday the 15th of June in round 1 of the Mid Championship in the Ragg At 7pm. All support appreciated

Junior football

Our Junior Footballers took on Boherlahan in round 2 of the Mid Championship on Friday last in Boherlahan. A big win by 5-12 to 2-3 has now qualified us for the Mid Junior A football final. This game is due to take place on July 21st v the winners of Boherlahan and Holycross.

Under 10 hurling

U10s - training continues next Tuesday evening at 6.45pm - we have a few blitzes and challenge matches coming up shortly - details to follow

U12 hurling

Hard luck to u12 group 4 team who fought well but lost out to moycarkey. Two home u12 games this week. Group 2 team Tuesday at 7 v Drom. Group 4 team Wednesday 7:45pm v Upperchurch. Group 2 are also playing Friday night at 7 in Castleiney

Kieran Bergin Sports club gear

The club will hold a club shop in the dressing rooms in the coming weeks to do fittings and take orders for the new club range (date to be confirmed). County Board draw

Congrats to Mary, Olwen & Edel Stanley €500 winner's in the County Clubs Draw last Friday night.

Camogie News

Well done to our U8 girls who played 3 brilliant games in the county Camogie blitz Saturday morning in New Inn . Super work from everyone . They all put in great effort and had great fun .

Our u12 camogie team travelled to Mullinahone on Monday 3rd June. We were ably assisted by members of the u10 team as we have a few injured players presently. Unfortunately we lost to a very strong Mullinahone team on the night but each one of our girls performed very well. Our next match is at home to Rockwell Rovers on Sunday next 16th June at 10.00am.

The Junior team play a challenge on Friday next in Carrick against Carrick

Well done to Ciara Hogan who represented the Club in the u14 Feile Skills competition in the Ragg Camogie Grounds on 30th May last.

There was no winner of the €4,800 Gortnahoe/Glengoole GAA Dev. Lotto Jackpot which was held in Hogans Ballysloe. No's drawn were 3, 11, 13 & 22. Lucky dip winners: Ultan Carr Gortnahoe. Lorraine Bartley Graigue. Andy O Gorman Boulick. Mary O Keeffe Ballysloe. Sellers Prize: Keith Holohan Gurteen. Next weeks draw in Hogan's Grange on 13th June. Jackpot €5,000.
