U12 hurling

It has been a busy week for our Under 12 hurlers. Good numbers at this age group has meant that similar to last year we are fielding two teams in the Under 12 Hurling Championships which are underway. Our Group 4 team defeated Upperchurch at home on Wednesday night on a scoreline of 0-3 to 0-0. This was a great win for this team especially with a large number of Under 10’s playing, they now play Clonakenny on Wednesday at home on Wednesday at 7:45pm. Our Group 2 team defeated Drom-Inch at home on Tuesday night on a scoreline of 4-9 to 2-5. Tonight they recorded another win away to Loughmore Castleiney on a scoreline of 5-7 to 1-3. Both teams will be out again shortly in the Mid Championship. As always this group will continue to play challenge games every second week and train as normal each Saturday morning at 10am.
