Intermediate hurling

Our final round game v Clonoulty in the Intermediate County league was called off due to a bereavement. A re fixture is yet to be made

Junior hurling

Our Junior hurlers take on Moyne Templetouhy in round 2 of the Mid Championship on Friday 12th July at 7;45pm in Templetouhy.

Under 10 hurling

Our under 10s played in the Larry Hayes Memorial tournament on Sunday in Killenaule. They won their group after playing against Sean Treacys, Boherlahn & St. Pats and then went on to beat Rosegreen in the Cup semi final. They played Mullinahone in the final where they were narrowly beaten by just one score in extra time. To be in the final two teams out of 16 in such bad weather just shows their great heart and determination. We would like to thank all the parents and families for such great support and to thank Killenaule for inviting us and compliment them for a very well organised and enjoyable event.

Camogie News

U16s play their league game in Moneygall against Moneygall on Tuesday evening 25th June at 7:30pm

Juniors play Porlaw in Portlaw on Wednesday 26th June at 8pm.

Well done to Helen Cleere who played with the Tipperary u14 Football team who were unfortunately beaten by Limerick in the All Ireland on Saturday last.

Championship Challenge

Our Championship Challenge competition is going to go down to the wire with next weekends provincial final results and top scorers going to separate contestants at the top. With 90 points to play for there is a lot to play for for anyone in the top 20. We will post the final result on our website and social media platforms on Monday next with the winner scooping €500, 2nd place taking €250 and 3rd collecting €100, best of luck to all involved

RIP Pj “Mocky” Stokes

The club would like to offer its condolences to the Stokes family on the sudden passing of Pj “Mocky”. Pj played with the club throughout the 90s in both hurling and football
