Junior Football

Our Junior Footballers were defeated in the Mid A final v Holycross recently on a score line of 2-8 to 2-6. We play Mullinahone in the County championship on the weekend of the 25th August.

Under 6 hurling

Well done to all our U6's who played brilliantly against Moyne last Thursday. They showed great skill, teamwork and had lots of fun. The matches are always a big hit. Thanks to all the parents who travelled. See you all next week and we will be organising a few more challenge matches over the next few weeks

Under 12 hurling

Well done to our Under 12 Group 2 teamwho defeated DromInch in the Mid Semi Final on a scoreline of 2-10 to 2-2... Well done to all the boys who played with great determination. They now march on to the final where they will meet Upperchurch Drombane.

Our Group 4 team gave their best performance of the year but went down !narrowly to Clonakenny in the Mid Quarter Final. Short the services of two key players the performance was still very good.

There is plenty of under 12 games lined up and all players will be commencing Mid Under 11 and Under 13 Leagues shortly

Minor hurling

We take on Boherlahan this Wednesday at home in Gortnahoe in round 3 of the championship, throw in is at 7:30pm

Under 14 hurling

Our under 14s await a date for their Mid B2 semi final with Drom & Inch.

Under 16 hurling

U16 had their best performance of the year on Friday evening, beating Durlas og in B2 semi-final 3.12 to 3.11.

B2 final takes place this Monday 29th vs Boherlahan in Holycross at 7.30

Ladies football

Our ladies footballers went down narrowly to Moyne Templetouhy last Wednesday on a score line of 2-9 to 1-13 in round 2 of the championship

Cul Camp

Registration is now closed for our Cúl Camp this year - looking forward to another enjoyable week from 5th-9th August

Camogie News

Hard luck to the u16s on their 2 point loss to Kildangan in the shield semi-final on Saturday. It was a great game and disappointing to lose out after leading the whole way .

Well done to the u12s who won their game against Ballybacon during the week.

Tipp Classical festival fundraiser

Tipp Classical Semple Stadium 20th & 21st Sept. 2019.

Club Lotto

There was no winner of the lotto jackpot worth €6,200 which was held in the Community Hall Gortnahoe, Numbers drawn were 3,12,16,17. Lucky dip winners were Anne Guidera c/o Geraldine Holohan, Kenneth Stanley Urard, Catherine Colleton Urlingford, Peggy Maher Gortnahoe, Sellers Prize Keith Corbett Gortnahoe, Next week s draw on the 1st of August to be held in Mary Willies, Jackpot €6,400.
