Under 6 hurling
Our U6's participated in their first county blitz last Wed eve in Dr Morris Park. They played brilliantly against some strong opposition and had lots of fun in the process
Under 8 hurling
U8s played in county go games blitz last Thursday night. Training continues TUESDAY 6.30pm and Saturday 10am. We hope to host our own mini blitz Saturday 31st August before all return to school fully
Under 12 hurling
Last week our Under 12’s took part in the Munster Activity Day in Semple Stadium. They played three games on the famous pitch against Killmallock of Limerick, Cratloe of Clare and St Paul’s of Dungarvan. We hope they all enjoyed the experience. Thanks to the parents for supporting.
Minor hurling
Well done to our Minor hurlers who captured the Mid B title on Saturday for the first time since 2016 with an eight point victory over a strong Upperchurch Drombane outfit in Holycross, winning out in the end by 1-19 to 1-11. Thanks to the great support who turned up, the team and management really appreciated this. We now go forward to the County semi final in late September versus the West Champions
Under 16 hurling
We are still awaiting a date for our Mid semi final v Drom & Inch
Junior A football
Our Junior footballers take on Mullinahone in round 2 of the county championship this Thursday at 6:45pm in Ballingarry. All support appreciated
Camogie News
Well done to Minor Camogie team on winning their first match of Championship against Moyle Rovers on Thursday last.
Junior Camogie team played their first match of Championship against Moycarkey on Friday night last nd were beaten by a stronger team on this occasion.
U12 camogie team played against Danesfort of Kilkenny at half time in the All Ireland senior camogie semi final at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick on Saturday 17th August 2019. It was a wonderful occasion and well done to all our girls, hopefully the first of many days on the big stage for these girls who have a never say die attitude.

There was no winner of the €6,800 Gortnahoe/Glengoole GAA Dev. Lotto Jackpot which was held in Hogans Ballysloe. No's drawn were 6, 19, 21 & 29. Lucky dip winners: Brendan & Maeve Ballysloe.
