Under 6s

U6's will take part in a mini blitz this Wed eve in Kickham Park hosted by Thurles Gaels.

Also well done to the U6's who played a challenge match against Moycarkey last Wed eve in Littleton.

Under 8s

Thanks to Drom Inch and Conahy Shamrocks for bringing their u8s to our pitch in gortnahoe last Saturday morning for a mini blitz. Thanks to Andy Cooney for parade and national anthem before the matches. It was a big thrill for the players and parents to see the teams marching behind the piper and standing together as one for the national anthem.

Thanks finally to the juvenile club who treated the 60 players to goody bags. All went home happy.

Under 10s

U10s

Our U10s took part in the County Football blitz last Thursday - great performance by all

Under 11s

U 11 group 2 bet moyne during week while the group 3 team were defeated by 2 points by durlas og. Next round group 2 v upperchurch in drombane and group 3 v thurles gaels in kickham park. Both games on Tuesday evening at 6 30

Under 13 hurling

Under 13’s recorded a victory and a draw over Thurles Gaels and Upperchurch respectively in their first two league games. They play DromInch in Round 3 this Thursday night

Intermediate hurling

Our Intermediate hurlers went down narrowly to Cappawhite on Saturday last in round 2 of the County Championship, final score; Cappawhite 0-19 Gortnahoe Glengoole 0-17. We play the final group game on Saturday next v Borrisokane in Moneygal at 2pm. The Mid Championship semi final v Boherlahan is fixed for Saturday the 14th of September at 5pm in Templetouhy

Under 16 hurling

Junior A football

We play Solohead next in the group of the County championship and the winner of this will contest a County preliminary quarter final. Time, date and venue TBC

Camogie News

The Junior Camogie girls played Carrick Swans on Wednesday evening last losing their game to a stronger side on this occasion.

Well done to the U14 Camogie girls who played Templemore on Friday evening last. It was a well contested game with only a goal

separating the sides in the end. Victory went to Templemore.

Our 12 Camogie team were very unfortunate to lose their shield final on Saturday against St Pats from Drangan at the Ragg. Final score St Pats 3-1 Gortnahoe Glengoole 2-0. An excellent performance by the entire team who have improved with every game this year.

Our U8 girls travelled to Ballingarry for a mini blitz Saturday morning . Great games were had against St Pats Drangan , Fethard and Ballingarry . Well done girls and a big thanks to Ballingarry for inviting us .
