Under 6s

Fantastic display of hurling from our U6's last Wed eve at their last blitz of the season in Kickham Park. Wonderful teamwork, skills and great fun was had all round. Thanks again to all the parents for their continued support. They will host a challenge match against Thurles Gaels in Gortnahoe next Sat Sept 14th

Under 8s

U8s will play in the annual thurles gaels blitz next Saturday morning along with teams from around the county. Training continues for a few more weeks Tuesdays and Saturdays at the usual times

Under 10s

We had a great performance in the County hurling blitz on Saturday morning last

Under 11s

Under 13 hurling

We defeated Drom on Thursday night to make it two wins and a draw from our 3 games so far. We have no game this week but will be out the week after. Training continues as normal midweek and on Saturday morning.

Intermediate hurling

Our Intermediate Hurlers has a good victory over Borrisokane last Saturday in the last round of the County championship group stage, 1-17 to 1-12 the final score, attention now turns to the Mid Championship as we aim to re enter the County Championship via this route. The Mid Championship semi final v Boherlahan is fixed for Saturday the 14th of September at 5pm in Templetouhy

Under 15 hurling

U 15 Hurlers started their shield competition on Monday evening last in gortnahoe vs moyne

Junior A football

We play Solohead next in the group of the County championship and the winner of this will contest a County preliminary quarter final. This game will have been played by time of printing

Camogie News

Minor Camogie team played Cahir last Tuesday evening. Cahir proved to be the stronger side on the occasion.

U14 Camogie team played Clonoulty on Wednesday evening in a well contested game. Unfortunately they were beaten in the closing minutes of the game with Clonoulty scoring a goal and taking the game but 2 points.

Junior Camogie team played Moyle Rovers on Friday night in Gortnahoe. The girls played great on the night winning by 10 points.

Ladies football

Junior ladies football into Semi-Final after overcoming a strong Silvermines side on monday night last in silvermines. Final score was 4-5 to 6-13. SEMI FINAL FIXED FOR 3PM ON SAT 21st IN LITTLETON. All support is appreciated.

U19 Ladies Football also off to good start with a win at home over Clonmel Óg. The girls are already proving to be a very strong side with some great scores taken on the night. Final score 1-15 to 3-2. New players welcome to join.

Tipp Classical festival fundraiser

Tipp Classical Semple Stadium 20th & 21st Sept. 2019.

To donate €10 per ticket booking to your club Log On to TippClassical website select GAA followed by Gortnahoe Glengoole etc and the Club will receive €10 per ticket booking.

Club Lotto

There was no winner of the lotto jackpot worth €7,400 which was held in Mary Willies, Numbers drawn were 1,2,10,16 , Lucky dip winners were Ryan's shop Gortnahoe, Thomas Hayes c/o Kevin Slattery Snr, Marie Dunne Graigue, Shane Phelan Graigaman, Sellers Prize Tom Nolan Graigue, Next week's draw to be held on the 12th of September in Prouts Gortnahoe, Jackpot €7,600.
