Timber Auction

A massive thanks to all involved with the Timber Auction, which took place today in Gortnahoe GAA Field

The club raised a total of €7,114, which included a total of €3,780 from the auction & €3,244 from the raffle.

Huge thanks to all who cut & split timber: Tom Nolan, Gerry Kavanagh, Jim Rafter, Eoin & John Teehan, Brendan Maher, Michael Bergin, Pat Rochford, Johnny Lanigan, Kevin Slattery Snr, Jim Lanigan, Seamus Doheny, Michael Cleary & Jim Lanigan.

Thanks to our Auctioneer, PJ Gleeson who did a mighty job on the day.

Special thanks to all who donated timber for the auction: Jim & Stella Lanigan, Johnny & Helen Lanigan & huge thanks also to club Chairman, Michael Cleary & Adrienne, who donated more then 50% of the timber auctioned.

We wish to thank all who helped in delivering the timber that was sold: Enda Mc Carthy, TJ Mockler, David Dunne, John, Ronan & Eoin Teehan, Michael Cleary Jim Rafter, Kevin Slattery & Tom Nolan.

Club gear fitting day

Thanks to Willie & Marie Coleman for organising Bergin Sports & the gear sale.

A small rebate from KB Sports will come back to the club once all the online orders are processed tonight

Thanks to Richard Dunne for the use of the PA system , to the Hall Committee for the use of tables & chairs, to Gortnahoe National School for the use of the school hall & to the Ladies Gaelic Football Club for keeping us fed & watered throughout the day.

All in all, we wish to say thanks and a massive well done to everyone who supported and contributed in any way - apologies if we have left out anyone. All help received, no matter how small was much appreciated.

Bake sale & coffee morning

Thanks to all who helped out and contributed to our Bake Sale & Coffee Morning today in aid of the Ladies football club.

We raised €631.80.

Thanks to the players, parents, friends and supporters of the club who donated cakes and refreshments for our sale & thanks also to everyone who sold tickets for the Timber Raffle.

Special thanks to Helena Bourke, Sarah Molloy & Trisha Holohan for organising and overseeing the event.

Thanks to Lorraine, Saoirse, Aoibhe & Padraig Bourke, Sharon Holohan, Susan Corbett, Roisin Troy, Marion Campion, Aoife Rochford, Laura & Maryanne Purcell for running the bake sale & coffee morning.
