Mid tipperary bord na nOg defeated North tipperary 2-20 to 2-15. Gortnahoe Glengoole's Liam Hayes and David Lanigan are involved in this team. A good start to the Garda Cup for the lads
Inaugural road hurling tournament
We will be closing off on names for the Road Hurling Tournament the middle of this week as we will have to draw the teams and prepare the scorecards at the weekend. Many thanks to all those who have put there name in to take part and join in the fun... we have a great number of former players involved as well as juvenile hurlers... if you have not already put your name in we encourage you to do us in the coming days and to ask a friend also. Ladies football
The ladies football club will hold a fundraiser in the County Bar on Friday 28th February with music by Two and a half Men, finger food will be available on the night and also presentations will be made to the successful U21 and Minor hurlers from last year as well as player of the year awards which will be handed out on the night. Tickets are €10 and available from any ladies footballer as well as the Senior club. The event will kick off at 8pm, check out our social media for more details. Please support

There was no winner of the lotto jackpot worth 3,000€ which was held in Prouts Gortnahoe, Numbers drawn were 10,16,26,28 .
