Development update
The GAA club Development lotto re commences Thursday night and with over 200 yearly sign ups already this has been a huge success, we need 50 more sign ups to help cover the bank loan on the development project and this will see us debt free in 4 years. Drive in Bingo
Our Drive in Bingo continued last Saturday night with another big crowd in attendance. 170 cars in total which is our largest attendance to date. We will be going again next Saturday at the new time of 6pm in the GAA Grounds
Ladies football
Our Ladies footballers take on Holycross in the County semi final next weekend in the Ragg at 6:30pm on Sunday. Best of luck to all involved
Intermediate Hurling
Our Intermediate Hurler’s have now qualified for the County semi final which will take place next Sunday at 3:30pm in Holycross, we take on Knockavilla Kickhams and with no supporters still not allowed we will we be streaming this game on our Facebook page.
Junior Hurling
Our Junior hurlers have qualified for the Mid Semi Final on the weekend of the 20th September, we await the draw to find out our opponents.
Under 12 hurling
Under 12 group 4 team had a great win against Holycross in the mid semi final Friday evening winning by 3-1 to 3-0. They play moycarkey in the final. Date and time tbc.
U12 group2 bet Moycarkey by a point in the mid semi final. They play Moyne in the mid final fixture to be confirmed

Our Under 16s commence their Mid football Championship this week away to Upperchurch. This game will have been played by the time of print
Camogie News
The u14s put up a very brave battle on Wednesday evening last against Burgess in the Shield Semi Final against Burgess/Duharra in the Ragg Camogie Grounds. Unfortunately they were beaten by a much stronger side in Burgess on the day.
Training continues this week for all groups at usual times
U8's continue to train on Wednesday evenings at the GAA field with great numbers attending and players improving each week. They have their first game of the season this Wed eve at 6.45pm against Ballingarry and another match next Sat against Mullinahone.
Some of the U8 and U10 girls are training on Saturday mornings with the juvenile teams also.
U10's continue training on Wednesdays at the GAA field and on Fridays at the community field. They had an impressive win against Fethard last Tuesdsy eve in Fethard and play Drangan next Tuesday in Gortnahoe at the community field.
Training is continuing for our U12 camogie team in advance of their county semi final. We still await information regarding opposition and venue, date and time. Some of our team were involved with the u14 camogie team that lost to Burgess Duharra on Wednesday evening. Five of our girls have qualified for mid hurling finals in the next week or so. Again we await date and time. We thank all the parents for their on going support getting the girls to training and matches while also abiding by the covid protocols.
