Congratulationa to both our Intermediate Hurlers and Ladies footballers on what was a super Sunday of actio.

The day got off to Brilliant start when our Intermediate hurlers defeated a fancied Knockavilla Kickhams side in Holycross with a blistering last 10 minutes which produced goals from Kevin Slattery (2) Ronan Teehan & Keane Hayes. This saw us come away with a 4-16 to 2-14 victory. We take on old rivals Moyne Templetouhy now on the weekend of the 27th in the County Final.

The day got even better as our Ladies Footballers produced a similar last 10 minutes to come 5 down to show incredible resolve and win a pulsating contest by 2-12 to 2-8. The girls also now qualify for a county final v Sliabh naMban again on the weekend of the 27th.

Although we have been operating in strange times the last few months both teams, coming together to train and play has been a tonic for all involved and a tremendous outlet for all during challenging times.

We thank respective management teams and backroom personnel for all their work to date. We especially thank the many loyal supporters who have found a way to watch the games, view the matches from their homes online and send messages of support to the management and players over the last few months.

We are asking that club supporters/ club members and all associated with the club get their colours out to shown their support to theses two teams who have worked unbelievably hard to date. Hopefully we will received good news on attendance during the week. #Clubisfamily, #redandwhiteforever
