This morning the County Intermediate Cup was brought to the three primary schools and playschool in Gortnahoe.

We thank all schools for facilitating the visit outdoors in the lovely sunshine and we appreciate the efforts of the school in the lead up to the final with the jersey day and colouring of pictures etc.

The questions the kids asked the players and level of excitement was great to see.

Some of the current players also got the opportunity to meet and chat with Eamon Lanigan. Eamon was the man who captained the Gortnahoe Glengoole Intermediate Team who last won the title in 1988.
