U13 Football
Hard luck to our under 13 footballers who put up a brave show versus a strong Clonmel Og outfit in Pairc na nOg last Sunday evening in the County B semi final, we went down by 2-6 to 1-2 to the South side. Well done to all involved in capturing the Mid Title earlier in the week & best of luck to this team as they prepare for the upcoming Mid hurling Championship
U15 football
We take on Drom & Inch in the Mid B football semi final on Friday next. Time & venue TBC.
U17 hurling
Our Under 17s hurlers continued their County league campaign with a good 7-15 to 0-6 away win to Shannon Rovers last Monday. This makes it 3 wins from 3 so far as they head into a home fixture v Kiladangan next Monday at 7pm
Junior hurling
Our Junior hurlers contest the replay of the Mid Junior league Div 2 final on Friday night next at 7pm in Kickham Park Thurles. The drawn game was a belter so please come out and support the team this Friday if possible. Best of luck to all involved.
Premier Intermediate hurling
Our Premier Intermediate hurlers took on Cashel King Cormac’s at home last Sunday at 12 noon. Despite being short a number of regulars we ground out a great 2-15 to 0-15 win over an I’ll disciplined Cashel side who finished with 13 men. Both goals came from the stick of Ronan Teehan. We now await the result of the Roscrea v Templederry game to find out if we progress to the semi finals or not. A Roscrea win on Tuesday night would see us through
Well done to Damien Corbett & the Tipp Minors
Well done to Damien Corbett who won a Munster Minor hurling title with Tipperary on Wednesday last in the Gaelic Grounds as Tipp defeated Clare on penalties after the side were deadlocked after extra time. Damien lined out corner forward and fired 0-5(0-4f) in the win. Damien is pictured below with his club mates after the win.
