Congratulations and we'll done to our U12s who atoned for lasts years defeat at the hands of St Mary's by beating them comprehensively today in the County semi-final. They put in a huge team performance to win 2-7/1-2. They now go on to play Lorrah/Dorrha in the County final on Sunday next(28th) @ 1pm in Holycross. We wish them the best of luck in this match.
The only disappointment from today was the injury to Laura Purcell who suffered a broken collar bone in a clash in the game and this means that she will miss out on the final. This is a terrible way for Laura to bow out of the Juvenile club as her attitude and work ethic were an example to us all. We wish her a speedy recovery.
On Thursday next "The General" Mocklers troops continue their quest for a second consecutive Mid Title in the U16 B hurling championship as they take on Drom & Inch in the Mid semi final in the Ragg. Throw in is at 7pm. Please note the change of date and venue from previous article. We wish a speedy recovery to Matthew Kavanagh, who due to an ankle injury received in the clash against Thurles Gaels, will miss this match.
Best of luck to both teams
