Fun Academy

Our fun academy for u5s and U7’s continues this Saturday from 9:30am

Under 9s

Training continues on Tuesdays at 6:45pm for this group

Under 11s

Training continues on Mondays at 6:30pm for this group with go games scheduled for the coming weeks in hurling & football

U13 hurling

The hurling championship for this group starts in early July and the team have been busy training & playing challenges in preparation

U15 hurling

Our under 15 hurlers travelled to Cloneen on Saturday last to take part in the Mary Moroney tournament. We took on St Pats & Moneygal in two good games, we unfortunately didn’t qualify for the final but these games will stand us in good stead ahead of the upcoming Mid Championship

U17 hurling

Our Under 17s hurlers are still awaiting details of their County league semi final fixture

Best of luck to Gortnahoe N.S

Best of luck to Gortnahoe N.S. who will be competing in the Cumann na bunscoile u13 final this Tuesday.

The game will take place in semple stadium at 3.30 v Kilsheelan N.S and all support would be greatly appreciated.

The team had a great semi final win on a score line of Gortnahoe 8-12 Ballinahinch 1-05

The team will be returning to the school after the game and we would love to see you all there to welcome them back.

Well done to Damien Corbett

Huge congratulations to Damien Corbett who lined out at corner forward last Sunday for the Tipp Minor hurlers in their 3-24 to 3-20 All Ireland semi final win over Galway, Damien popped over 3 points in a lively display.

Tipp now go on to the final which will take place on Sunday 3rd July at 1:30pm in Nowlan Park where they face Offaly

Junior A Football

Our Junior footballers continue their Mid Junior A campaign with an away fixture versus Clonakenny on Wednesday in Clonakenny at 7:45pm. A win would see us top the group heading into the semi finals.

Junior hurling

Our Junior B hurlers start their Mid championship campaign on Sunday at 12 noon away to Killea. All support appreciated

Premier Intermediate hurling

Our Premier Intermediate hurlers will take on Clonakenny in Templetouhy at 12 noon on Sunday 3rd July in the Mid Premier Intermediate hurling championship

Camogie News

Under 8s

Our under 8 girls played Moycarkey Borris on Wednesday evening last in Littleton and played really well in a tough game.

Under 10s

The under 10 girls played Moycarkey Borris also there on the same evening in another great game. The girls are improving all the time and have great attendance at training.

Under 12s

Our under 12s next game is at home to Mullinahone on Wednesday 29th June and they are busy training for same and many of the girls on the team are on the Gortnahoe school team playing kilsheelan in FBD Semple Stadium on Tuesday 21st June in co final. We wish the girls and the team every success.

Under 14s

Our u14’s play their co semi final against Templemore on this Wed night in Dr Morris park at 6.30 pm. All support greatly appreciated.

Under 21s

Congratulations to our u21 girls who beat Silvermines to reach co final which will take place next weekend. A great achievement as all our leaving cert girls were unavailable and the girls played extremely well.
